BM-8-24 Katyusha (Soviet)

Description The BM-8-24 “Katyusha” was Soviet multiple rocket launcher based on the chassis of either a T-40 or T-60 light tank. Conversion was simply a process of removing the turret and replacing it with the launch rails and controls for the rockets. Each could carry 24 unguided 82mm rockets, that while inaccurate individually, could saturate an area with high explosives.
