The RX3 3000 Smith Machine Rack is the perfect all-in-one Rack for a functional trainer, smith machine, and a half rack in one unit. It features the ability for both 2:1 and 1:1 weight ratios per upright, which allows you to start at a lower starting weight, increase in 5LB increments, and utilize the full 2x 200LB stack per side. We’re also including a smith machine that further allows you to isolate targeted muscles while keeping safety and simplicity in mind. 2 Included RX3 J-Cups allows the front uprights to be used as a half rack with your barbell. EFFICIENT ACCESSORY MOUNTING Laser-cut numbering for each of our offset 1″ holes with 2″ spacing on uprights, cross bars, and accessories such as spotter arms, provides convenience. Attachment Design All RX3 attachments are made with a beveled chrome pin making insertion into the uprights easy and frictionless. The beveled chrome pin as well as the uprights will maintain their new appearance, even after years of repeatedly inserting and removing attachments. Other companies use a powder-coated pin that scratches and chips away on both the pin itself as well as the coating on the upright. Further, the inside of all RX3 attachments are lined with protective padding made from durable materials to prevent metal-to-metal contact. HIGH-QUALITY FINISHES & DETAILS Chrome uprights where trolleys are used means less wear and scratches to your upright as you adjust the position of the trolley up and down. Our plate sleeves are also chrome with a rubber stopper which eliminates the potential of scratches and chips seen on cheaper, powder-coated plate sleeves. RX3 Sandwich J-Cups feature stainless steel logo plates with an oversized racking area, making it easier for lifters to re-rack their barbell into the intended racking area. No stickers are used in any of our RX3 designs. The 3″x3″ uprights and crossbars also allows for extra modularity and attachment options from a larger ecosystem. Further, because of our 93″ height, this unit is tall enough to accommodate a seated lat pulldown with full range of motion. The 2 handle design makes this unit extremely versatile as you can perform 1-handed exercises as well as 2-handed exercises in one, space-saving unit. The included smith machine is not just for safety with its self-spotting capabilities, it’s also an excellent tool for totally fatiguing muscles from only one angle, thus tapping into the same set of motor units on every rep without fail. What is the benefit of using 2 separate single column functional trainers to make a rack, where now you have 4 handles instead of 2 seen on other designs? 4 handle options gives you the ability to choose from doing 2:1 or 1:1 weight ratio per handle. Most racks setups have only 1 handle on each side and are either a 2:1 ratio or 1:1 ratio that cannot be changed. For 2:1 ratio racks, you don’t have enough weight to do lat pulls, low rows, or belt squats from each upright. For 1:1 ratio racks, it’s too heavy to jump 10LBs per handle when doing chest flys and many other exercises, such as cable Y raises or face pulls. You may also not have the needed cable travel since 1:1 cable travel is half the distance of 2:1 ratio cable travel. With our design, you can switch from 1:1 ratio by using both handles on each upright, as well as go to 2:1 ratio by just using 1 of the 2 handles on each upright.
