One of the most popular types of tip clamps, designed to last for years. Features Slide over the top of your cue and pull down the brass ring to tighten (do not over-tighten). For enhanced protection, wrap a thin piece of card or material around your cue shaft before using this clamp. Weighted flat brass top helps put pressure on the tip and holds it in place. Includes a ferrule file and file guiding gap to clean any old glue off your brass ferrule and level before applying a new tip. Recommended as a cheaper and very effective alternative for tip maintenance.
